It was decided that this was only a backwards compatibility issue
between alphas/betas for an API that was never considered stable.

The API in trunk now is supposed to be stable and I'll modify
ant-contrib as soon as Ivy's release candidate has been released
(which should be a matter of only a few weeks now).
