1. Ant 1.6.4 is an old version. If you can use the latest 1.7.0.
2. Is there an executable batchfile /usr/local/ant-1.6.4/bin/ant ?
3. Are there some jars (ant.jar, ant-launcher.jar) in /usr/local/ant-1.6.4/lib ?
