Ant Task: sshexec

They can configure it either way. You want them to set it up so that you don't
need to enter a password. It can be done without compromising security. Another
possibility is to ssh to the server as the user that tomcat runs as. You can do
this without a password by using ssh key authentication. Or you could pass a
password into ant on the command line.

ant -Dpasswd=somepassword ...

Then in the build.xml...

  <sshexec host="somehost"
  username="${usernamethatrunstomcat}"
  password="${passwd}"
  command="do something"/>

Of course this is not as secure as using sudo or ssh key because the password
is visible on your screen when you type it.
