splash screen not going to front

the Ant splash screen (optional Splash task) doesn't go to the front.
I tried with Ant 1.5 and 1.5.2 (latest) and with Java 1.4.1-b21 and
1.4.1_02-b06 (latest)
Anybody else experienced this?
The SplashTaslk code looks OK to me. Could that be a SDK or Windows bug?
